Lori discovered her love for horses when she started riding at age 5, with Red and Cynthia Cantleberry in Bakersfield, CA. Her show career began shortly there after at local competitions. As her show career moved forward she started showing state wide in the Pacific Coast Hunter Jumper Stock Horse Association open circuit. She finished her youth career with multiple wins and state and national rankings before moving into the amateur division where she continued her success.
Lori’s professional career started in her early 20’s at the same place as her youth career, at Cantleberry Stables in Bakersfield. Working for the late Red Cantleberry and his wife Cynthia, Lori was learning the trade from two of the all time greats.
After a few years there, she started Lori Crow Quarter Horses in 1988 in Bakersfield. Her business grew over the years in the Bakersfield area with multiple AQHA world show qualifiers and numerous PCQHA year end champions and top ten finishes.
In 2003 the opportunity to move her successful business to the central coast of California came along and she moved to Templeton. Since moving to Templeton she has enjoyed a growth in her business that has seen her train an AQHA Select World Champion in trail and Lori placing 8th at the 2007 AQHA World Show in Senior Trail. Lori is now located in beautiful Paso Robles at Cantleberry’s Golden Hill Farm. She is currently showing and training many circuit and show champions.
