Blue Diamond Horseshoe, LLC is under construction and poised to become a state of the art breeding and training facility. The farm is located in Aguanga, California and caters to Thoroughbred and Sport Horse breeders throughout the United States.
Mike Tippett and his wife Debbie are owners of the beautiful facility. Mike was once quoted as saying “I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing. It’s the last thing I think about at night, and the first thing I think of in the morning.” This passion is what drives Mike and the whole Blue Diamond team to excel in all aspects of the farm.
There is a consorted effort to make educated decisions on which mares and stallions to cross. Once a healthy foal is on the ground the team work really begins. Foals and mares are handled regularly with emphasis on behavior for the youngsters. The early effort helps to make for a smooth transition as they begin training for the track. Although it is not standard practice for the racing industry, Blue Diamond is willing to hold off training until a young horse is ready both mentally and physically to undergo the pressure of race training.
Since not all horses will be successful on the track the young horses are started as if they will become riding horses for sport or pleasure. Because a solid basic foundation was laid down early and at the right time, the horses make an easy transition back to basics after their racing careers are over. Check the BlueDiamond website for quality young horses for racing and sport that are available for purchase.
Blue Diamond stands two stallions with outstanding bloodlines proven for racing and performance at the Aguanga ranch location. Hidden Blessing was the first stallion that Mike and Debbie purchased. Not only is his personality sweet and charming, but he passes that onto every single foal he sires. Hidden Blessing is by champion sprinter, Orientate winner of $1,716,950.
James Street is kind, gentle to handle, and a beautiful mover. He carries the lines of El Pradro, Northern Dancer, Unbridled, Mr. Prospector, and Buckpasser to name a few. Mike believes that James Street will become one of the top stallions in California. He is available for breeding to Thoroughbred and Sport Horse mares.
There are three additional stallions, owned by Mike which stand at Swifty Farms in Indiana. The three stallions include Wolfcamp, who was on-the-board in 18 of 24 career starts with 7 victories by a combined winning margin of 24 lengths. His pedigree includes the likes of Norther Dancer and Mr. Prospecter.
Sequoyah is a gorgeous stallion with a very sweet temperament. He is by A.P. Indy and his gene pool is proving to be prolific. He is the sire of the up and coming Korbel, with lifetime earnings of $427,970.
Lightnin N Thunder is a stunning stallion that brings athleticism, correct conformation, and a wonderful temperament to the table. He is the total package and not only a wonderful cross for racing mares, but should also prove to be the perfect cross for warmblood mares. He has lifetime earnings of $68,510 and is by the famous sire, Storm Cat.
